Nittany Valley Field hockey was built in the Mt Nittany region of Pennsylvania. Mount Nittany was named after the legendary tribe leader Princess Nittany, whose strength, leadership, and compassion allowed her to become a leader who created huge success for her people. Legend has it that her ability to be in touch with nature; the land and the animals within it was what allowed her tribe to build the foundations to not only grow but thrive in this area.  At Nittany Valley Field Hockey it’s our mission to follow in the footsteps of princess Nittany not only to grow a club that thrives nationally in the field hockey scene but more importantly to develop and raise strong, confident, athletes that are ready to go out and lead and thrive in this world.  Come join us and see what can happen when you follow the path of those who lead before us!
